Road Ahead Driving Academy
Effective Date: 04/17/2025This Agreement is entered into by and between Road Ahead Driving Academy ("Driving School") and the undersigned student ("Student") or legal guardian if under 18 years old ("Parent/Guardian").Services ProvidedRoad Ahead Driving Academy agrees to provide behind-the-wheel instruction and/or classroom instruction based on the selected package.Payment & Cancellation Policy
Please see the Terms and Cancellation Policy for full policy.- All payments are due in full before lessons begin unless a payment plan has been arranged.- Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid late cancellation/no-show fee as detailed in the Terms and Cancellation Policy- No refunds.- Packages expire 1 year after purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.Code of Conduct- Students must follow all instructions and act respectfully at all times.- Inappropriate, aggressive, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the program without refund.Parental Responsibility (For Minors)Parents/guardians agree to:- Ensure students are prepared, punctual, and behave responsibly.- Review and understand the content of this agreement.Student Requirements- Students must hold a valid learner's permit or license and carry it during ALL lessons- Students must wear appropriate footwear (no flip-flops or heels).- Students must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol during lessons.Assumption of RiskDriving is inherently dangerous. By participating in driving lessons, the Student and Parent/Guardian understand and voluntarily assume all risks, including but not limited to:- Motor vehicle accidents- Injuries to self or others- Damage to vehicles or propertyRelease of LiabilityThe Student (and Parent/Guardian, if applicable) agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Road Ahead Driving Academy, its employees, and instructors from any and all claims, demands, or liability for:- Personal injury- Property damage- Vehicle accidents- Emotional distress- Any result of instruction or driving activities, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconductVehicle Use- Instruction may occur in either the School's vehicle or the Student's vehicle.- The Student's vehicle must be roadworthy, insured, and registered if used.Instructor ConductWe screen all instructors and strive for professionalism. If a student experiences misconduct or discomfort, please report it immediately. All lessons may be terminated if necessary for safety.Governing Law

Prior to engaging with Road Ahead Driving Academy for driver training services, we ask that you carefully review the following policies.
By utilizing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Refund Policy
No refunds. No exceptions.
Payments are non-refundable because lesson appointments are reserved specifically for each student. Late cancellations, no-shows, and lessons that cannot take place because the student does not have the required permit or license prevent that appointment time from being made available to another student.
Lesson Cancellation
We require a minimum of 48 hour notice for canceling or rescheduling a driving lesson without incurring a penalty.
Please be aware that driving lessons are conducted rain or shine. In the event of a cancellation with less than 48 hour notice, for any reason including but not limited to inclement weather, a $90 charge will apply for rescheduling.
No exceptions will be made.
Lateness Policy
Our instructors will wait for up to 15 minutes after the scheduled start time of the lesson.
If you arrive late, the lesson will still conclude at the scheduled end time. Failure to arrive within the allotted 15 minutes will result in a no-show status. No exceptions will be made.
No-Show Policy
Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice will result in a $150 charge for rescheduling, or forfeiture of the lesson altogether. No exceptions will be made.
Package Payment Policy
All package payments must be made in full prior to scheduling any sessions.

Prices
Our prices are effective at the time of purchase and are subject to change without prior notice.

Permit/License Requirements
It is imperative that you possess a valid California Minor’s (Learner’s) Permit, Driver’s License, or International License at the time of the lesson.
Failure to provide the required documentation will result in a $90 charge for rescheduling. No exceptions will be made.
Upon completion of 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction, Road Ahead Driving Academy will issue a Certificate of Completion, also known as the Golden Ticket.
This certificate is required by teenagers aged 15½–17½ when taking the road test at the DMV.
In the event that the certificate is lost and requires replacement, a $90 fee will apply.
If purchased through Groupon or Yelp, a $45.00 certificate fee will apply.
SMS Messaging
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the short code.
After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.
If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary. The messages will contain information about driving lessons from Road Ahead Driving Academy.

Scheduling
Lesson dates and times are subject to availability. A lesson is considered scheduled once payment has been received and the appointment has been confirmed by Road Ahead Driving Academy.
Please schedule future lessons ahead of time to avoid delays.
Parent/Guardian Responsibility
For students under 18 years of age, the parent or legal guardian is responsible for reviewing these policies with the student and ensuring that the student meets all applicable permit, license, scheduling, and attendance requirements.
